i have predicted the end of the world! REPENT SINNERS!

we will fall victim to our own technology, continuing to wire ourselves into our computers, untill one day, deep into the future, we will have no bodies, for we will not need them! instead we will be brains that are kept in liquid storage jars that have cables comming out of them...
permentantly wired to the net, or whatever game we desire to play.
and then one day, the Janitor, or plumber... or the person who maintains the servers, will accidently trip the power cord...

EVERYBODY DIES!!!!!

and that's how our species will come to an end
