Similar to my 2 previous drawings, I used a ref-photo: a pic of myself that I also took myself. And: same Pentel mechanical pencil, same cheapo-printer-paper. Besides that there aren't many similarities... The hair e.g. is way less detailed, as is shading in general.
Talking of hair, the technique I used for it is also a different one: I almost drew every hair line by line, stroke by stroke, rather than shading areas, so it turned out more rought than the 2 drawings before. (Uh well, women have to be softer anyways, right? )
All in all, it's not as "impressive" as my 2 previous ones IMHO, maybe because it was done pretty quickly: only about 3.5 hours (the previous ones took about 14 hours each).
Oh yeah, funny story: when I showed the unfinished drawing to some people I got responses ranging from "Huh, that's you?", "What? 'tis Max Payne?" to "Ohh, definitely you!"
yap, i know i could, but i just dont have the nerve for it. i'm totally uninspired about this pic, dunno why.. i've had this unfinished in my folder for about a month now until i finally completed it to this point. dont like to finish old unfinished stuff very much, you know.. such an annoying routine, nothing more
